Welcome
Hello!
As you walk through God's plan for your family, I would like to personally thank you for taking this opportunity to learn what Sonrise Christian Academy has to offer. Sonrise is a warm, nurturing environment where all children are treated with love and respect. Sonrise Christian Academy welcomes applications from all families.
At Sonrise, you are part of a family, and together we celebrate learning and understanding God's design in all of creation. It is truly our joy and honour to walk through the elementary school years with our school families.
We are blessed to have small class-sizes, where we have the opportunity to build strong relationships with our students. Our dedicated staff endeavors to disciple their students in their relationship with Christ, understanding that this is the most important thing they could ever teach our students.
Deciding where your children will go to school is an important decision and I pray that you and your family will have peace in your journey. May you always feel Christ's presence as He walks beside you.
Sincerely,
Sophie Walcott | Principal
Admissions Process
Step 1: Inquiry
We're accepting applications for JK- Grade 6.
Once you have carefully reviewed our mission statement, core values, and admssions policy, we request that you fill out an inquiry form.
Step 2: Application
After you fill out the inquiry form, we will send you an application. All forms must be completed and submitted with the required documents for your application to be considered.
Step 3: Interview
Our office will contact you to set up a family interview once your application has been reviewed. Students must be present at the interview along with their parents or guardians.
Step 4: Decision
The offer of acceptance or denial is issued once an interview process has been successfully completed. The decision is based on several factors including the school's ability to meet a student's needs, classroom capacity, etc. At times, there may be waiting lists for some grade levels.
Step 5: Tuition
To complete your child's registration, the non-refundable deposit must be paid.
****Students carrying through from the preceding school year and are qualified for re-enrolment are given a priority standing.****
Tuition
As a private school, we receive no government funding and we are financed entirely through tuition, donations, and fundraising. With the understanding that tuition costs are often a factor in making a decision to enrol in our school, we would like to share with you a few options to make our school a more affordable option for your family.
